ReBAT, a brand by Sage Green Industries Pvt. Ltd., is an integrated lithium-ion recycling and critical materials recovery company based in Central India. The company works with lithium-ion waste across the full lifecycle, including production scrap, retired batteries, and intermediate materials such as black mass. Its focus is simple: recover valuable materials like lithium, cobalt, and nickel and bring them back into the supply chain, while also extending the usable life of battery assets wherever possible. With an annual processing capacity of 2.6 GWh, ReBAT supports India’s net-zero goals and helps reduce dependence on imported raw materials. Its zero liquid discharge process enables the reuse of water and chemicals, along with recovery of by-products such as graphite. Through a closed-loop approach, ReBAT uses resources more efficiently than traditional mining and is designed to save up to 50 million kilograms of CO₂ emissions each year. At its core, ReBAT is building a scalable and practical solution for managing battery waste and supplying critical materials for the evolving energy ecosystem.
